(Madison County, MO) A Marquand man, 29 year old Brian A. Hamm, is recovering from moderate injuries after a traffic accident last Friday morning at 9:20 in Madison county. According to Highway Patrol reports Hamm was driving a pick up north on County Road 247, 12 miles west of Patton, when he failed to negotiate a curve to the left and the truck ran off the right side of the road crashing into a tree. Hamm, who was not wearing his seat belt during the accident, was taken to Cape Girardeau Regional Hospital.
