Firefighters Contain Residential Blaze on Highway B

Doe Run, Mo. (KFMO) - Saturday morning at 10:49 a.m., the Doe Run Fire Protection District responded to a residential structure fire on Highway B.

Upon arrival, first responders encountered heavy flames consuming the roof and front of the house. Firefighters from neighboring districts, including Pilot Knob Fire Protection District, Bismarck Fire Protection District, Farmington Fire Department, Wolf Creek Fire Protection District, and Park Hills Fire Department, joined forces to bring the blaze under control. After extinguishing the fire, crews conducted an extensive overhaul of the structure to ensure there were no lingering hotspots.

The Missouri State Fire Marshal was contacted and has taken over the investigation into the cause of the fire. No injuries have been reported.
