Farmington Woman Faces Burglary Charges

(Farmington, MO) A Farmington woman, 31 year old Cheri Lynn Beyersdofer, is scheduled for an appearance in St. Francois County Court Thursday for a preliminary hearing on charges of burglary in the 1st degree, trespassing in the 2nd degree, tampering with a motor vehicle, and two counts of stealing with a value of less than $150. Reports show Farmington Police were sent to a home in the 400 block of Sixth Street May 27th on a burglary call. Beyersdofer is alleged to have stolen items from the homes garage and was confronted by the homeowner as she tried to enter the residence. It's also said Beyersdofer was found to be in possession of items allegedly connected to an earlier theft. Beyersdofer is currently out on bond.
