Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - Farmington School District administrators are placing two separate propositions on the April ballot.
The Principal of the district's Lincoln Intermediate School, Mike Halloway, explains one is a no tax increase bond issue that would add physical improvements to several buildings and a performance center that would double as a FEMA storm shelter.
Halloway adds the second proposition is a tax levy issue that would see a $0.40 increase, per $100 assessed valuation. According to Halloway, it would effect teacher salaries and help fund the future of student programs currently underway.
