Extreme Cold Grips the Parkland

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - The Parkland remains under the grip of extreme cold weather, with temperatures plummeting well below freezing through Tuesday night. The National Weather Service advises residents to prepare for harsh conditions:

Monday’s forecast: Highs in the lower 20s
Tuesday’s forecast: Highs in the mid to upper teens
Overnight lows: Between 5 and 7 degrees
Wind chill values: Expected to dip to around -3 degrees tonight

Residents are urged to take precautions during this extreme cold. Limit outdoor exposure, wear warm layers, and ensure pets are safe. Protect your home by insulating pipes and keeping an emergency kit handy in case of power outages.
