Dinkins Measure Increases MDC

(Jefferson City, MO) A bill being presented in Jefferson City would change the way Missouri Department of Conservation commission members are chosen, and how many are allowed. State Representative Chris Dinkins, says the bill would equalize the commission to give better represent to citizens.

According to Dinkins her bill would increase the number of commissioners from 4 to 8 and they would come from the 8 congressional districts in Missouri. It would be a non partisan position and commissioners would be elected by a vote of the people.
