Desloge Woman Seriously Injured in Crash

(Washington County, MO) A woman from Desloge, 42 year old Shannon Dean, is suffering serious injuries following a 1 car crash that occurred in Washington County Wednesday morning. Reports from the Missouri State Patrol indicate the wreck happened just after 5 o'clock on highway 32 at Stoney Point Road. Dean was headed east when her vehicle ran off the right side of the road. In an attempt to avoid a deer, Dean overcorrected and the vehicle ran off the left side of the road crashing into a rock and rolling over. Dean, who was wearing her seat belt, was taken to Mercy Hospital South.
