Desloge Residential Fire on Jackson Street

(Desloge, MO) No injuries are being reported following a residential structure fire on Jackson Street in Desloge Wednesday morning. Desloge Fire Chief Jared Meador tells KFMO B104 News the fire started in the attic of the home at 705 Jackson. Reports indicate fire fighters were called at 7:20, shortly after the children who live in the home left for school. The resident at the home noticed smoke, and what appeared to be electrical problems. The cause of the blaze is not known. There is severe damage to much of the home especially the back part of the house. Several local departments assisted Desloge firemen in stopping the blaze including Big River Bonne Terre, Park Hills, and Farmington.
