Desloge Home Destroyed by Fire

(Desloge, MO) A home at 205 North Harry Junior Street in Desloge is destroyed after a fire that has been ruled accidental took place Friday morning. The Chief of the Desloge Fire Department, Larry Gremminger, says the fire began in the attic area and it was difficult to contain since it was an older home with concrete walls.

Gremminger also says they received the call at 7:46 am and the home was already involved with smoke coming from the building when they arrived. Desloge firefighters received assistance from 11 other departments including those from St. Francois County and some from Jefferson County. No one was injured in the blaze.
