Desloge Chamber of Commerce 5K Jingle Bell Run & 1-Mile Hot Cocoa Stroll

Desloge, Mo. (KFMO) - The holiday season is here, and the Desloge Chamber of Commerce invites you to celebrate by participating in the 5K Jingle Bell Run and 1-Mile Hot Cocoa Stroll this Saturday, December 7. The event will kick off at Desloge City Hall, with registration beginning at 8 a.m. and the race starting promptly at 9 a.m.

Chamber Executive Director Cheri Henderson highlights the fun twist of the Hot Cocoa Stroll, a festive walk for those who prefer a slower pace.

Runners of all ages are encouraged to dress in their best holiday costumes for this family-friendly event. The registration fee is $20 per runner, but children 12 and under can run for free. All proceeds from the event will benefit Feed My Sheep, an organization supporting five local area food pantries.

Henderson says the holiday spirit doesn't stop at the finish line, as more Christmas fun is planned following the run.
