Desloge Chamber Hosts Meet the Candidates

(Desloge, MO.) The administrative educational focus of the six candidates running for three seats on the North County School Board in the April election, is better understood after they spoke at today's Desloge Chamber of Commerce meeting. The event began with a presentation of the district's no tax increase bond issue proposal from Superintendent, Dr. Jeff Levy. The issue is on the same ballot as the board positions. Levy says it's called Proposition S for Safety and Security for Students.

Levy told the crowd if approved the bond issue would also help with Americans with Disabilities Act safety measures, HVAC improvements across the district, and more. The six candidates who are running for the three school board seats, Stacy Kay, Julie Pratte, Stacey (Tifenauer) Wilfong, Alan Gremminger, Jake Long, and Adam Froidl, also answered questions and addressed the crowd on their qualifications to be a member of the board. KFMO B104 News was on hand for the forum and we will feature the speech from Dr. Levy as well as comments from the candidates during tomorrow's Morning Drive radio show on AM 1240, KFMO.
