Desloge Aldermen Discuss Mayor's Exit

(Desloge, MO) Members of the Desloge Board of Aldermen are looking ahead to the end of the year when Mayor David Kater will resign his post to be sworn in as St. Francois County Associate Commissioner District 2. The procedure was discussed at this week's Desloge Board of Aldermen meeting. Kater was elected to the position in the Presidential elections and Desloge City Administrator, Dan Bryan, says the city's Mayor Pro Tem, Alvin Sutton, will serve as Mayor once Kater resigns.

In other business at the Desloge Board of Aldermen meeting the latest audit was presented. Bryan explains revenues are up for the city and spending is on track. The cancellation of Christmas In the Park was announced however Bryan says they will have a smaller Christmas parade instead.
