(Jefferson County, MO.) Jefferson County Sheriff's Deputies are still looking for a woman who allegedly stabbed a taxi driver in Imperial Tuesday evening. According to information from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office the victim picked up a woman from the Dierberg's grocery store in the 12400 block of Tesson Ferry in South St. Louis County. Officers say she asked to be taken to Windemere Drive in Imperial. It's reported the suspect was picked up around 9 o'clock. Just after 10:30 the Jefferson County 911 Center received a call about a man having been stabbed near the intersection of Windemere Drive and Ferris Court. Once the driver got away the suspect drove the taxi from the scene. It was found early the next day abandoned near Telegraph and Forder Roads in South St. Louis County. The victim is in stable condition at an area hospital. Police aren't sure why the woman allegedly stabbed the taxi driver but it's suspected to have been the result of an argument over the cab fare. That could change as the investigation continues. If you have any information on the suspect call the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department, 911, or your local law enforcement officials.
