Daylight Savings Time This Weekend

(St. Francois County, MO) Daylight Savings Time begins this Sunday morning and it's always a good time of year to check things around your home such as smoke detectors. The Chief of the Big River Bonne Terre Fire Department, David Pratte, says it's also a great time to make sure you have a fully operational carbon monoxide detector in your house as well.

Pratte explains if you have any questions about detectors contact your local fire department. Set your clocks an hour ahead as Daylight Savings Time begins at 2 o'clock Sunday morning and will end at 2 am November 6th.
