Cruisin for a Cause Time Capsule

(Park HIlls., MO.) The 2nd Annual Cruisin for a Cause event, to benefit the Meals on Wheels program at the Park Hills Senior Center is being called a big success. The event began with a special opening of a time capsule that was placed in the ground 25 years ago when the City of Park Hills began. The City Administrator of Park Hills, Mark McFarland, was on the original committee that helped in the consolidation of the city and name it. McFarland says he's proud to have been a part of the history of Park Hills.

The Mayor of Park Hills, Danny Naucke, explains there were some items in the capsule that were especially important to him.

The organizer of the event, and Executive Director of the Park Hills Senior Center, Holly Buxton, says they're already looking at ideas for next year's event.
