COVID19 Found in Iron County Jail

(Ironton, MO) Iron County officials are dealing with the COVID virus in the Iron County Jail. The Presiding Commissioner of St. Francois County, Jim Scaggs, says they found their first case last week.

As of yesterday there were 9 positive tests in the jail group. Scaggs says those of all those who have tested positive there are no major symptoms, all symptoms are minor. Scaggs explains they don't believe the virus will spread into the other cells. Another round of testing will be done today at the Iron County Jail.
