County Departments Work Together After Storm

(Farmington, MO) St. Francois County Commissioners are proud of the way various county departments, and citizens, are working together to help residents after Sunday's storms. The effort was discussed at Tuesday's St. Francois County Commission meeting. The Presiding Commissioner of St. Francois County, Harold Gallaher, says they were out to help as soon as the storm left the area.

In other business at the commission meeting approval of the grant application to help with the remodeling of the old Mineral Area Regional Medical Center was tabled for now. Some had concerns over the language in part of the documents from the federal government involving what possible future protesters would be allowed to do on property connected to the grant.
