Commission Approves Hiring Additional Deputies

(St. Francois County, MO) The St. Francois County Sheriff's Department is in the initial stages of hiring 5 new deputies after Tuesday's St. Francois County Commission meeting. Commissioner David Kater, says they this is an additional 5 deputies to add to the Sheriff's roster.

In other business at Tuesday's St. Francois County Commission meeting bids were approved for a little over $1 million in work for the county Juvenile Detention Center and the annexation of a property at 867 Hillsboro Road, into the city of Farmington, was discussed.
