Bucheit-Courtway Chairs Mental Health Committee

(Jefferson City, MO) Missouri State Representative, Cyndi Buchheit-Courtway, will head up the House Subcommittee on Mental Health Policy Research after being chosen for the position by House Speaker Rob Vescovo. Buchheit-Courtway currently serves as the vice-chair of the House Health and Mental Health Policy Committee. The knowledge and expertise she has gained in that role prompted Speaker Vescovo to charge her with leading the Mental Health Policy Research Subcommittee. Speaker Vescovo also asked Buchheit-Courtway to take on the additional responsibility of serving as the Vice Chair of the House Transportation Committee. She had previously served as a member of the committee, and will now take on a leadership role to help deal with issues related to Missouri’s highways, bridges, and ports. Bucheit-Courtway also serves as a member of the Joint Committee on Transportation Oversight. Be listening to our weekly state government reports with our local legislators, including Bucheit-Courtway, Friday mornings, during the legislative session, on AM 1240, KFMO.
