Bonne Terre Woman Arrested for Felony Drug Possession, Leaving Scene of Accident

Washington Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A Bonne Terre woman was arrested Sunday morning in Washington County on felony drug possession and hit-and-run charges, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Authorities say 29-year-old Brooklyn R. Brownlee was taken into custody at 10:56 a.m. on February 2. Brownlee was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance—identified as 18 pills containing opium or its derivative totaling 3 grams—and felony leaving the scene of an accident. Brownlee was booked into the Washington County Jail and later released.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol continues to investigate the incident.
