Bonne Terre Drag Strip Owners Referred to Prosecutor

(Bonne Terre, Mo) - The Bonne Terre Drag Strip may be in some hot water after a public event was held on Sunday afternoon.  St Francois County Health Department Executive Director Amber Elliot says the Stay At Home Order is still in effect and it still stands.

More than 200 people attended the event, according to Elliot, and she confirmed it is the Bonne Terre Drag Strip that violated the order.  She says the venue owners could be in some trouble.

Elliot says it will be up to the prosecutor on whether charges will be filed beyond the citation.
