Body Found In Washington County Update

(Washington County, MO.) More information is coming out of the Washington County Sheriff's office concerning the body discovered Wednesday in the 11000 block of Radio Station Road. According to Washington County Sheriff Zach Jacobsen Deputies were dispatched to the address for a deceased person. Jacobsen adds he asked for members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol Division of Drug and Crime Control to help with the investigation. So far the scene was processed, the body transported, and now authorities are waiting on the results of an autopsy to determine the identity of the person and their cause of death. Jacobsen says no other details will be released until the autopsy if finished. The Sheriff also says he wants to thank the Washington County Coroner's Office, officials with the Missouri State Highway Patrol, and members of the Potosi Fire Protection District for their efforts in the investigation.
