Body Found in Fredericktown

(Fredericktown, MO) An investigation is underway into the death of 33 year old Andrew S. Fox, whose body was found last Friday afternoon in Wanda Priest Park in Fredericktown. Fredericktown Police Chief, Eric Hovis, tells KFMO B104 News the death does not appear to be a homicide. An autopsy was performed on Fox's body Monday, March 20th. Police were dispatched to the park at 4:45 Friday afternoon after a resident's dog discovered the body during a walk. Police are still waiting on further autopsy and toxicology reports and once those have been received investigators will proceed with any additional follow up. Those results could take as much as 4 to 6 weeks before they are available. Hovis adds he wants to thank Highway Patrol Troop E officers, The Patrol's Division of Drug and Crime Control, and the Madison County Coroner's office for their assistance.
