Blunt Says Ukraine Aide Needed Now

(Washington, DC) Missouri United States Senator, Roy Blunt, is calling for aide for Ukraine as soon as possible in the light Russia's invasion of the country. Blunt, who is a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee and the Defense Appropriations Subcommittee, acknowledged the incredibly strong resistance Ukraine has mounted against Russia and urged the Biden administration to get aid to Ukraine as soon as possible.

After more than a month of assaulting Ukraine Russia is reported to have lost seven generals and at least 10,000 troops. After losing over 13,000 troops in Afghanistan in a 10 year period Russia is in line to lose that many troops in 10 weeks in Ukraine.
