Bismarck Shooting Wednesday Night

(Bismarck, MO.) A man is dead after an officer involved shooting that, according to a press release from Bismarck Police, took place Wednesday night just after 7 o'clock. Officers were dispatched to a home in the 1400 block of Cedar Street for an apparent domestic assault. When they arrived police say the man, 34-year-old Duston Eaton, was holding a firarem.

When told to drop the weapon the man allegedly pointed the gun at an officer. The officer fired, fatally wounding the individual who was pronounced dead on the scene. The officer sustained minor injuries. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
