St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A Bismarck teen, 18-year-old Franklin D. Beard, is recovering from moderate injuries after he was involved in a motorcycle wreck in St. Francois County Tuesday morning, just after midnight.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Beard was riding the motorcycle south on Highway N, north of Highway NN, when it struck a deer as it ran across the road.
Beard was flown to Mercy Hospital South at St. Louis. He was wearing a helmet when the crash took place.
