Bismarck Man Dead in St Francois County Fatal

(St. Francois County, MO.) A Bismarck man is dead after a traffic crash in St Francois County Tuesday morning. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 23-year-old Kelsie Morris of Bonne Terre was driving west on Highway 32, near Old Irondale Road just before 7:30, when ice on the road caused her to lose control of the vehicle and it slid into the eastbound lanes. Morris' vehicle hit the front driver's side of an oncoming vehicle being driven by 31-year-old Corey Tiefenauer of Bismarck.  He was pronounced dead at the scene. Morris was taken to Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis in serious condition.  Neither driver was wearing a seat belt according to the crash report from the Highway Patrol.
