Biodiesel Issue Causes Heavy Duty Truck Recall

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - Officials with the Ford Motor Company are recalling almost 300,000 of the company's heavy duty pickup trucks.

The problem is a biodiesel deposit issue which could lead to a failure of the vehicle's high pressure fuel pump resulting in a loss of drive power.

The trucks covered in the recall include the F250, F350, F450, F550, and the F600. The recall also covers the 2021 through 2022 model year of the F650, and F750.

A free software update from your dealer should fix the problem.

If you own one of the pickups you can expect a notfication in the mail next week.
