Aldi in Desloge Hosts Grand Opening with Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony

Desloge, Mo. (KFMO) - Aldi officially opened its doors in Desloge on Thursday morning with a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony that drew a large crowd. Many eager shoppers lined up early, hoping to be among the first inside to win prizes.

City officials, including members of the Desloge Board of Alderpersons and City Administrator Stephanie Daffron, attended the event to celebrate the latest addition to the city’s growing business community.

Rob Jefferies, Vice President of Aldi, expressed his enthusiasm about the store’s opening, stating that Aldi is proud to be part of the Desloge community.

Daffron emphasized the teamwork it took to bring Aldi to the city, noting that collaboration between city leaders and business partners played a key role in making the project a reality.

Jefferies also highlighted Aldi’s commitment to providing high-quality products at affordable prices, stressing that saving customers money remains a top priority. 

Daffron added that Desloge continues to focus on attracting new businesses, with economic growth being an important goal for the city’s future. 

The new Aldi location, situated at 404 N State St., will provide local residents with a convenient option for grocery shopping while contributing to the city’s expanding retail sector.
