House Members and Bill Against China's Organ Harvesting Practices

Jefferson City, Mo. (KFMO) - Missouri State Representatives are discussing a bill dealing with organ donations involving China.

State Representative for the 117th District, Becky Laubinger, says the measure would limit people from using insurance to provide organs to, or get them from, based on China's treatment of their own citizens.

The bill has been heard in committee and could be moving to floor discussion in the Missouri House of Representatives soon.
