With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Carol Williams, a beloved member of the St. Joseph Church in Bonne Terre and a former member of the Daughters of Isabella. Nancy was born on Thursday, April 6, 1933 to the late Grover and Katie (Thornton) Bisch. Nancy peacefully passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, surrounded by loved ones.
She is survived by her loving children, Julie Hahn, Bert (Tracy) Williams III, Susan Eaton and Michael Glenn (Vicki) Williams; grandchildren, Jacob Hahn, Josie Hahn, Cameron Williams, Dillon Williams and Mandy Benoist; six great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Charlie Bisch of Madison Wisconsin, along with several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bert Allen Williams, Jr.; grandson, Levi Hahn; sisters, Laura Mae Bisch in infancy, Monkey Pratte, Marie Bayles and Lee Eatta Jaster.
Nancy proudly worked 30 + years at East Missouri Action Agency, (EMAA) in which 8 years she served as the executive director.
She will be remembered for her devotion to her family and her cherished furbaby, Rosie. She found joy in traveling with her husband to Texas and creating precious memories with her loved ones. Nancy's kind spirit and warm presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace, forever remembered in the hearts of those who loved her.
Mass will be held Thursday, October 10, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bonne Terre at 10:00 AM with Reverend Rodger Fleming officiating. Graveside service will follow at Bonne Terre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Nancy’s honor to St. Vincent de Paul.
