Woman Charged with Making Terrorist Threat

(Farmington, MO) A woman from Farmington, 30 year old Brenda Paige Nevels, is facing charges of making a terrorist threat after the AMC Theater in Farmington was closed Friday afternoon. St. Francois County Prosecuting Attorney, Melissa Gilliam, says around 100 people were evacuated at about 3 pm when a person, alleged to have been Nevels, called claiming a bomb was located in the building. No device was discovered and the number used to make the call was traced back to Nevels who is an employee of the theater. She was booked into the St. Francois County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
