West County Calling off School for Playoffs

(Leadwood, MO) West County school officials are calling off school Thursday and Friday so parents, students, and staff can support the West County Lady Bulldogs Girls Basketball team in the Final Four State Tournament in Springfield. A press release from Superintendent, Dr. Kevin Coffman, indicates there will also be pep busses available for students in grades 6 through 12 to ride to and from the games and a community watch party will be set up in the district's high school cafeteria for those residents of the district who can't attend. It's the first time a team from the girls basketball program has reached this level at West County. For more information visit the West County schools Facebook page and listen to KFMO Sports.
