Wednesday Ste. Genevieve County Crash

Ste. Genevieve Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A 26-year-old woman from, St. Mary, Chyann F. Gibbs, and a 39-year-old-man, from Evansville, Illinois, John A. Denninger, are recovering from injuries after a two vehicle crash in Ste. Genevieve County Wednesday night at 8:20 p.m.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident took place in St. Mary as a pick up driven by 61-year-old Samuel W. Campbell, from St. Mary, was travelling north on Mulberry Street. Gibbs was driving a car south on Mulberry. Campbell's truck crossed over the centerline and struck the front of Gibbs' car.

Gibbs was moderately injured and Denninger received minor injuries. They were taken to Ste. Geneveive County Memorial Hospital. Campbell was not hurt.
