Washington County Moderate Wreck

(Washington County, MO.) A 22 year old Mineral Point man, David J. Kopplemann, is suffering moderate injuries after he was in a two car accident Sunday morning in Washington County. According to Highway Patrol Reports Kopplemann was a passenger in a car driven south on Route U by21 year old Trevor M. Hicks, of Mineral Point, when a car driven north by 36 year old Jacob W. Crawford, or Irondale, crossed over the center line and struck the front left of the car Hicks was driving. Both cars ran off the road. Hicks car also struck an embankment and rolled over. David Kopplemann, plus Hicks and his other two passengers 21 year old Josey A. Lake and 21 year old Savanna A Schaefer, also of Mineral Point, as well as Crawford were all take to Washington County Memorial Hospital. All the others involved received minor injuries.
