Too Dry to Burn

(St. Francois County, MO) Even though the winds of late have died down, and the forecast shows normal activity ahead this week, it's still not a good time to do any outdoor burning due to dry conditions. The Chief of the Big River Bonne Terre Fire Department, David Pratte, says it's better not to take a chance on creating an out of control fire.

Pratte adds if you have any questions about burning or checking your smoke or carbon monoxide detectors contact your local fire department.
