(Farmington, MO) St. Francois County Commissioners are looking to the future of the new Owl Creek Park by discussing the hiring of a Superintendent for the facility. The Presiding Commissioner of St. Francois County, Harold Gallaher, says one of the Superintendent's responsibilities would be to keep the park family friendly.
Gallaher explains the Superintendent would also help design certain aspects of the facility including bathroom and rest area locations. There's no time frame for the hiring of someone for the position. In other business at this week's St. Francois County Commission meeting the costs of autopsies and indigent burials, performed by the county, were increased. Gallaher sights rising costs for the county as the reason.
