Student Brings Firearm to Fredericktown HS

(Fredericktown, MO) An investigation is underway after a high school student brought a firearm to Fredericktown High School. According to a social media post by the district, they say the situation took place on Friday.

The post read, "a situation occurred at Fredericktown High School involving a firearm that was confiscated from a student by the school resource officer."  The student was removed from school grounds and appropriate action was taken.  

Law enforcement and school administration responded immediately.  The district said that all students and staff were safe.
