Straight Line Wind Damage Determined

(Bonne Terre, MO) A survey team with the National Weather Service in St. Louis has determined that the damage from the storm that blew through the area early Tuesday, was straight line wind damage and not a tornado. The storm, which prompted a tornado warning at 1:30 Tuesday morning, left damage between Stormy Lane and K Highway, in Bonne Terre. Damage ranged from broken tree branches and damaged out buildings. No injuries were reported during the storm.
