Ste. Genevieve Man Dead After Crash

(Perry County, MO) A man from Ste. Genevieve, 24 year old Robert C. Seibel, is dead after a head on collision Monday morning, just before 6 o'clock, in Perry County. Highway Patrol reports show Seibel was driving north on Highway 51, about 100 feet north of Perry County Road 210, when his car crossed over the center line and crashed head on into a Van driven south, by 66 year old Carl L. Duffie, of St. Libory, Illinois. Seibel was pronounced dead at the scene. Duffie, who received moderate injuries, was flown to St. Louis University Hospital. Seibel was not wearing a seat belt during the crash while Duffie was wearing his.
