Ste. Genevieve County Accident

(Ste. Genevieve County, MO) A 59 year old man from Ste. Genevieve James H. Deimund, is recovering from moderate injuries after a three vehicle accident in Ste. Genevieve County Saturday morning at 11:35. According to reports from the Highway Patrol the wreck occurred as a truck driven by 63 Mikhail G. Akinshiv, of Lincoln, Nebraska, was headed west on Highway 32. Akinshiv made a left Turn into the path of a pick up driven east by Deimund who was unable to stop in time. The two vehicles collided and cargo from Deimund's truck spilled out struck a car driven west by 35 year old Mary E. Oberle of Ste. Genevieve. Deimund was taken to Mercy Hospital South at St. Louis. Oberle and Akinshiv were not hurt. Everyone in the wreck was wearing a seat belt at the time.
