St. Louis Wreck Injures Leadwood Child

(St. Louis County, MO) A 12 year old male from Leadwood is suffering serious injuries after a traffic accident in St. Louis County Sunday afternoon. According to Highway Patrol reports 21 year old Toby M. Bohnenkamp, also of Leadwood, was driving his car on the ramp from northbound Interstate 270 to westbound Interstate 64, at 12:25 pm, when the car ran off the left side of the highway and crashed into a post, highway sign, and a culvert. The 12 year old boy, and Bohnenkamp, who was moderately injured, were taken to Mercy Hospital at St. Louis.
