St. Francois County Traffic Accident

(St. Francois County, MO) A woman from Cadet, 38 year old Anna M. Johnson, is recovering from moderate injuries and a man from Bonne Terre, 83 year old David A. Benson, is suffering serious injuries, after a two vehicle crash in St. Francois County Thursday afternoon. Highway Patrol reports show Johnson was driving her pick up south on Highway 47 at Rue Terre Bonne Road at 1:15, when an SUV driven north by Benson attempted to make a left turn in front of her. The front of Benson's SUV struck the front of Johnson's truck. Johnson, who was wearing a seat belt when the wreck occurred, was taken to Parkland Health center at Farmington and Benson was transported to Mercy Hospital South at St. Louis.
