St. Francois County May Go Solar

(Farmington, MO) St. Francois County Commissioners are considering switching to more solar power after a special meeting Tuesday between county Commissioners and executives of Solera Energy. The C.E.O. of Solera, Will Cox, says solar power can help the county lower electric bills and help the environment.

If the effort is approved by commissioners the county would enter into an agreement for a solar field that could be built on the ground or on the roof of one of the county's buildings.
