St. Francois County Accident

(St. Francois County, MO) A woman from Farmington, 56 year old Cynthia L. Ellis, is recovering from moderate injuries after she was involved in a crash between a car and a pick up Sunday night at 8:50 in St. Francois County. Highway Patrol reports show a pick up driven by Ellis, and a car driven by 32 year old James D. Reed, of Ironton, were both headed north on Highway 221, at King's School Road. Reed attempted to pass Ellis as she turned left and the two vehicles crashed into one another. Ellis was taken to Mercy Hospital Jefferson. Reed was not injured.
