Sports Wagering Bill to be Heard

(Jefferson City, MO) Legislation to legalize sports wagering in Missouri will be heard in the Missouri House Committee on Emerging Issues Wednesday at 5 pm in House Hearing Room 6 at the capitol in Jefferson City.  The State Representative of the 117th District, Mike Henderson, says slot machines need regulating as well.

After the hearing, the bill will be eligible for a committee vote and referral to a Rules Committee for further vetting. If passed, and signed into law, the bill would allow Missouri to join over thirty states that have legalized betting on sports.
