Saturday Motorcycle Crash

Ste. Genevieve Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A man from Wood River, Illinois, 72-year-old Dennis D. Rigsbey, is recovering from serious injuries after he was involved in a motorcycle crash in Ste. Genevieve County Saturday afternoon at 1:22 p.m.

Missouri State Highway Patrol reports show Rigsbey was headed north on Route WW, south of Holmes Road, the bike ran off the right side of the road as Rigsbey tried to go through a curve to the left. The motorcycle rolled over and threw Rigsbey off.

He was flown to St. Louis University Hospital. Rigsbey was wearing a helmet during the wreck.
