Route 49 Bridge Replacement Coming

(Iron County, MO) Crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation are planning for projects in the coming years including a bridge replacement on Route 49 over Branch Creek in Iron County. An Area Engineer with MoDOT, Chris Crocker, says the bridge replacement will take place in 2024.

Crocker adds the bypass is needed for emergency vehicles and school traffic through the area. For more information on the project visit modot.org.
