Prop P Will Help Retain Deputies

(St. Francois County, MO) Law Enforcement Officials with the St. Francois County Sheriff's Department plan to use Proposition P tax funds to help retain deputies. Sergeant Tim Harris, says the salaries that new deputies receive after training, can't compare to nearby county departments.

Proposition P is the only issue on ballots in the August Primary Election held on Tuesday, August 2nd. Prop P is an internet use tax that is already being collected by the state of Missouri, but not being distributed to St. Francois County unless approved by voters.
