Potosi Dairy Queen Robbery

(Potosi, MO) Officials with the Potosi Police Department are asking for your help in identifying a male suspect who is alleged to have robbed the Potosi Dairy Queen Tuesday night. A post on the Potosi Police Department's Facebook page indicates at approximately 10:45 pm officers were dispatched to the restaurant in reference to a robbery that had occurred. Officers were told a female employee was leaving the restaurant with a bank deposit and was approached by the male subject in the parking lot. He allegedly demanded the bank bag. The employee dropped it and the subject took the bank bag, along with her keys and cell phone. The employee advised she believed the male subject was armed with a handgun. The male subject fled on foot towards Napa Auto Parts. The employee's phone and keys were recovered by officers close to the scene. Officers, along with Deputies with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, canvassed the area with negative results. The employee described the male as slender build, medium height wearing a gray Senior shirt and a ski mask.
